- For reasons of innovation, YShield do not declare ingredients and magnetic characteristics. The high-tech material has a high initial permeability and high saturation induction of 5 Hz to 50 kHz . In addition, static magnetic fields with 0 Hz are shielded as well as electromagnetic fields up to 40 GHz.
Attention: You can cut the M6L series with high-quality scissors! The cut edges are as sharp as a knife and must be protected immediately after cutting, e.g. with fabric adhesive tape! Use cut-resistant gloves when processing! It is better to plan the installation of the panels so that you do not have to cut! For larger wall surfaces, make sure that the panels form a vapor barrier. Processing with adhesive: Choose an adhesive that can bond the PET (polyethylene terephthalate) laminating film. There are highly viscous assembly adhesives for solid surfaces, for example, or flexible plastic adhesives for bonding under car carpets, for example. Follow the instructions of the adhesive manufacturer. Processing with a stapler or nailer: If the surface is suitable, we recommend installation with an electric stapler or nailer. For one layer including overlap, a mid-priced electric stapler is sufficient; for two or more layers you will need a professional nailer. The screen area must overlap by at least 2 cm. Multi-layer installation: Always install the panels offset; the surfaces should cover underlying overlaps.
When shielding magnetic fields, also pay attention to the electric fields. To avoid the spread of electric fields, grounding is necessary. The M6L series is completely laminated, but there is a solution for making contact with our conductive grounding tape. Staple or nail through the grounding tape.
